What is cast coasted photo paper?
On the original paper surface coated with a layer of micron-sized silicon oxide (about 2microns, larger two orders of magnitude than RC waterproof paper), in order to achieve "glossy" effect, in the production process using chrome rail die casting, so it's called "cast coated paper". Silicon oxide coating is completely waterproof, but paper base not waterproof, the cast-coated paper is ""semi-waterproof", should not tough too much water.
This type of photo paper is cast coated with double sided glossy surface, bright white color paper, normally apply for the printing of photos, name cards, menus, etc. Gaily-coloured and vivid effect after printing.
